As the Website Content Writer, you will research and write content for clients including: new and existing websites, landing pages, press releases, marketing partner ads, ebrochures, eNewsletters and blog articles. You will also write and edit content for the company including press releases, website content, proposals and other collateral.

The ideal candidate will possess an existing knowledge and experience in English, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline along with experience with the Internet and intranets. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required. This motivated team player will also possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Excellent communication and personal skills
• Ability to write articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format (AP Style preferred)
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions related to effective web content
• Ability to work well with other staff and departments to achieve corporate and client goals
• Reliable transportation and ability to meet twice a month with the rest of the team
• Proficient in Internet, intranet and World Wide Web operations
• Excellent creativity with writing styles and wordplay

Experience developing PHP server based applications is highly desirable. This position will define and implement aspects of the administrative functions and advertising delivery mechanisms to client applications via web-based APIs. Also, an understanding and willingness to maintain existing PHP systems is preferred.
